Annajeh cooperative was founded in 2016 in Aich Zitoun, governorate of Beja and has 26 female members specialized in distillation.
Annajeh cultivates its plants for more control over quality. Aich Zitoun is known for its rich flora, and cooperative members
use 7 of the many varieties present in the region: lentiscus (mastic), cypress, rosemary, pennyroyal, myrtle, eucalyptus and thyme;
to make essential oils and other plant-derived products.
